Beatification and Canonization Ceremonies
The Church celebrates the lives of holy men and women through beatification and canonization ceremonies. These events are the culmination of a long process through which the lives of these individuals are reviewed and the cause of their sainthood is promoted.
Religious orders, dioceses, and institutions associated with the legacy of an individual being beatified or canonized can advance their own mission and underscore the charism of these holy men and women by organizing group tours and pilgrimages that culminate with the beatification or canonization ceremony in Rome.
